‘Beach’ by Andy Murkin
Ambient XIV is an album released in 2020 containing 3 soundscape pieces recorded at Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve, Cambridgeshire; Wicken Fen, a National Trust property in Cambridgeshire; and Hunstanton, a seaside resort in Norfolk.
The recordings were made in 2016, 2019 and 2020.

Ambient VIII (2016) did not use my own field recordings; Ambient IX and Ambient X (both from 2017) were extracts from The Ouse Washes Project, elsewhere on this site; Ambient XI (2020) featured extracts from The Sutton Project elsewhere on this site; Ambient XII, wholly, and Ambient XIII, partly, (both from 2020) used field recordings from 1985, 2015 and 2019 as part of my non-naturalistic series of pieces in the Alien Landscapes series.
